Dry January: Don't Be A Tease
/Italians are known for their glamour and sex appeal, and nothing gives off a chic Italian vibe more than an aperitif, or bitter Italian liqueur. The term aperitivo often signifies the hours between 7pm and 9pm, when Italians meet to socialize before a late dinner, and the traditional aperitif is consumed to ‘open’ the appetite before a meal.
Red bitter liqueurs are eponymous with this aperitivo culture which is why we love SexyAF Spirits Apertease. Flavour and design are equally important in Italian culture, and this non alcoholic aperitif similar to Campari brings both with it’s bright hue and en pointe bitter flavour.
Apertease has a depth of flavour perfect for pre-dinner cocktails, but we love it even better as a post-dinner digestif because of its herbal properties. Gentian root is one of the main ingredients, which is known to help ease digestion, bloating and other side effects from a rich meal. January comfort food, anyone?
So pour yourself a glass of this easy non alcoholic cocktail and give yourself a taste of Italian aperitivo culture tonight!
