Dry January: Sobrii 0-gin Mulled Gin

Sponsored by Sobrii-0 Spirits

Sobrii 0-Spirits is a Canadian non-alcoholic spirits brand that makes a mouth-watering, herbal non-alcoholic gin. It’s made with juniper berries, star anise, coriander, allspice and ginseng. Because of this unique flavour profile, Sobrii 0-gin is a perfect match for winter flavours. The pomegranate juice adds a perfect touch of bitterness.

This is a great recipe to make if you’ve got leftovers from our mulled wine hack, and have mulling syrup left over. This isn’t a recipe you can just pull together quickly, and does involve some planning so it’s best for a crowd since you can make several of these cocktails with the leftovers from a mulled wine recipe.

It is WORTH the effort though, as the combination of the mulled wine and Sobrii 0-gin is just incredible.

  • You can find 'ready to use' mulling spice packets in your grocery store, to quickly make a mulled wine
  • The recipe for mulling syrup is 1 cup water, 1 cup sugar and mulling spices to your taste preference. Bring to a simmer on the stove, stirring to dissolve sugar. Once simmering remove from heat and let cool, before straining into a glass jar.
