A Classic Non Alcoholic Americano
/Easy cocktails are the name of the game when it comes to rethinking drinking, and choosing a non alcoholic drink to elevate your night. While the Negroni remains a true classic, it’s elegant step-sister the Americano is an oft-overlooked drink. The gin in a Negroni is replaced with seltzer or soda water for a lighter aperitif-based drink.
Lyre’s makes a great Italian Orange Style aperitif that mimics the bitter orange of Campari. They also make a very elegant Aperitif Rosso which is a sweet vermouth style of drink that is on constant rotation here. These two non alcoholic aperitif style spirits blend together seamlessly with soda water for a refreshing zero proof cocktail that is extremely easy to make and to drink.
