2024 In Review - Readers Favourite Wine Reviews, Recipes & Articles

As 2024 draws to a close, we’re so happy to start reflecting back on a year of sharing non-alcoholic drink options, deliciously elevated mocktail recipes, and stories from the world of rethinking drinking with our readers. Here we’re sharing our most popular non-alcoholic wine reviews, recipes and articles from 2024.

Most Popular Articles of 2024

  1. Low-sugar was a hit: Our most popular article by heads and tails was the roundup of low-sugar non-alcoholic wines. This was not a surprise as there is a weighty conversation going on right now about the sugar levels in mocktails and non-alcoholic drink options.

  2. Guiness 0.0 Review: The second most searched and most popular article on the site this year was our stand-alone Guinness 0.0 review. it also generated the most amount of emails from readers who corrected an egregious error we made in calories listed!

  3. Gin is still the thing: Our roundup of the best non-alcoholic gin was a heavy-hitter this year, with lots more people looking for non-alcoholic spirits information and landing on our best of page!

Most Popular Non-Alcoholic Wine Reviews

We kicked off the year with a review of Pure Vision Zero Shiraz, a juicy and tannic non-alcoholic red from Australia. It was the most read wine review of 2024!

Lautus Savvy Red is on the list again this year, a recurring reader favourite from South Africa.

The other notable wine review from 2024 has been the review of the Zeronimo Leonis Blend, the Austrian wine brand rocking the fragile foundations of the non-alcoholic wine category.

Nozeco sparkling and Allay functional wine with benefits were also notably popular in 2025.

Reader Favourite Mocktail Recipes

The most popular recipe on the site in 2024 was the recipe for a Virgin Ceasar with Tabasco sauce. No surprise, since it’s one of the most requested brunch mocktails out there!

It was quite the surprise to find that the second most popular recipe on the site in 2024 was the Smoked Rosemary Old Fashioned Mocktail. You need a kitchen torch and Stirrings Old Fashioned mix to make it, but it’s easy peasy to pull together and is incredibly tasty!

And from cozy drinks to spooky drinks, the third most popular recipe was a fantastically frightening Halloween mocktail called The Black Widow.

Most Popular Non-Alcoholic Beer Reviews

A group of people eats a meal together. They sit around a table and clink glasses.

As mentioned, any of the articles about Guinness have gone over well with readers and people interested in non-alcoholic drinks. Our non-alcoholic stout face-off was hugely popular as well and not just at St. Patrick’s Day!

Heineken 0.0 was next on the list, but the big surprise was a huge volume in people looking for info on a Canadian brand called Noh Co. and their blonde ale.
